Privileged to take footy fans behind the scenes at Optus Stadium, and into the inner sanctum of the reigning premier for the 2019 AFL season.

The 2018 season with AFL Social Media was filled with firsts — from Lance Franklin’s 8-goal haul during the first-ever AFL match held at Optus Stadium, to the privilege of covering the stadium’s first finals series alongside eventual Premiers, West Coast.

The Geelong Cats spent a week in Fremantle, WA to break up the winter blues and back-to-back road trips. The week included both open and closed training sessions and match day photography.
